I meant "Horrors!" in a facetious, playful sense.

Dear Anne,

I used the word "Horrors!" in a
self-depracating sense; a making-
fun-of-myself sense. No, the mini-
cold I had was no horror. It hurt
my pride, my male ego. I hadn't
been sick in a long, long time,
and I foolishly thought I had found
a way to banish illness from my
life. Now that IS foolish!

I agree with everything you say in
your post. A cold every now and then
gives the immune system some much-needed exercise. I learned my
lesson.
