Has rockybird suggests, root canals often are breeding grounds of anaerobic bacteria; a root canaled tooth is a great spot for the bacteria because there is no blood supply therefore your immune system cannot touch it. Dangerous waste products and infection can proliferate to other parts of the body.

If you are having unexplained symptoms, do some reasearch on root canals and Amalgams but proceed carefully - obviously the best thing would be to have the root canaled teeth removed along with the amalgams, specially if there is a direct connection to any symptoms you are experiencin), but it might not be that easy, do things slowly so it doesnt overwhelm your system.

There are currently no procedures that effectively and permanently save and sterilize a root canal. There are promising treatments that use ozone to keep infection at bay (mostly in canada and northern europe) but even ozone seems to be only a temporary solution at best.

It goes without saying that if you do end up getting the Amalgams and/or root canals removed that you must go through a holistic biological dentist with training on Hal Huggins removal procedures to minimize any complications.
