I just thought I'd pipe in that not all UV blockers are necessarily a "bad thing". Few are actually, considering the potential risk from these supposed "bad" ingredients is far outweighed by the lessened risk of skin cancer. Everything in life is a calculated risk. Skin cancer is far more prevalent in todays society than complications from use of UV blockers. Gotta weigh it out.
Anyway, what I was getting at was Gamma Oryzanol is an ingredient with UV blocking qualities, and there isn't even much, if any, anecdotal risk concerns with it, let alone demonstrated risk. The primary source of Gamma Oryzanol is Rice Bran Oil, which if not the refined cooking oil type, contains enough G.O. to have effects in "normal doses". The high level of tocotrienols and tocopherols that also occur naturally make this oil a free radical fighting oil worth more serious consideration than it gets.
