i would call the specific dept that is doing the spraying, tell them you hve an extreme allergic reaction to the pesticides and would like to know when they are scheduling spraying near your home. then i would leave that day, and leave the windows closed. or if you can't leave at least batten down the hatches and stay indoors with a good air purifier on. be firm but friendly, it really not their fault that they are spraying, tell them its a medical necessity. leave your windows down, doors closed etc, for at least 12 hours after spraying, but then it should all have settled down.

getting towns to stop or at least cut way down with spraying is possible, it requires some citizen action ans some political org. believe me when 100 people show up at a council meeting, all concerned and all speaking out, they take notice, i have been to many a meeting like this. at least for now this is still a democracy, you might be surprised at how much impact a small dedicated group can have.
