Re: Sick after Amalgam Removal
Hi #43658
I had all of my 5
Amalgams removed over 3 months.
I must admit I did become sick after my last 3 were removed.
Even though I had them for 21 years.
Perhaps I rushed into it even though my dentist was Mercury free and used protection like a rubber dam.
I think it is inevitable that one may become sick after the procedure ( sorry to be negetive.)
I mean Mercury is toxic , they say 1 microgram is enough to destroy any cell in the body. There is a massive possibilty that even with the most careful procedure that one may be ill after the removal.
But because I detoxed when I became very ill , I think thats what saved me and made me ok now.
I used PCA-RX avaliable from

I am now feeling much better and I am glad that I am Mercury free even though it was a hard road.
So I urge you to be very careful when you have yours removed.
I think if I had it over and was you, I would make sure I contacted Dr Hal Huggins and asked his advice as he pioneered
Amalgam removal and knows exactly what you can do to get your fillings replaced and avoid any adverse effects. Go to his Web site.

So what I am saying is even though I got awfully sick after my dental work, I kind of blame this on the way I did it. (I never consulted Dr Huggins and followed his advice properly.) There is a very special way that
Amalgam fillings should be removed with electrical current principals to be followed as per Dr Huggins protocol.
I think in your case you should have your
Amalgams replaced but please don't rush into it even if you have to email Dr Huggins ,the cost is about $30, but it's well worth it for advice. Please have him recommend you to a special Biologic dentist who will follow his protocol. You'll be glad you did.
I know if you do this carefully you'll win the battle, good luck.
