Re: Safe levels of ALA; eating fish

Dear Boronia

I have read Andy Cutlers book on Mercury poisoning.
He suggests the use of ALA later on after at least 2-3 months of DMSA.

Chelating with ALA if you have high Hg levels in the blood can be dangerous in the possibility that it may loose the bond and land up in your brain!!

ALA is a great chelator don't get me wrong but do 2-3 months chelation with DMSA before beginning ALA as this will lower blood Hg levels.

Then finally combine ALA with DMSA to remove Mercury from the brain safely.
