just had my Amalgams removed yesterday.....and it makes sense what you said about the the new filling sitting closer to the nerve and causing some sensitivity....i feel a very minute tingly sensitivity where my Amalgams were takin out.....i wouldnt really consider it pain, but i dont have a problem with this sensitivity as long as it doesnt get any worse, and i'm just happy to be mercury and nickel free........i had 3 Amalgams and 2 crowns removed by dr morales. even the side of my mouth where i only had the 2 crowns replaced seems to be a tad sensitive....i guess ill get used to it
