Here's a place to get slippery elm and American saffron which is really safflower pedals (Carthamus tincturius). They only sell by the pound but it's still much cheaper. I've been using slippery elm for about a week. I haven't yet started on the Am. saffron, but will soon. So far I haven't seen any change in my P. I add a heaping teaspoon of the slippery elm powder to 8-10 ozs. of a mix of water and pineapple juice. I also use a Braun mixer to blend it up. If you don't use a mixer or blender you'll end up with a lot of undisolved slimy bits but even that's not so bad. It kind of reminded me of that tapioca or bobo tea you get in Thai restaurants. http://www.herbalcom.com/store.php3?list=cats&alpha=yes&lett=r-tR-T&session=c...
