I like to keep on hand pesto made from basil, or if detoxing metals, make pesto with cilantro. I try to make it with pumpkin seeds as part of it too. Also, substituting some of the oil with a ripe avacodo works wonders too.
PS, I make a mixed herb pesto, with a combo of mint, cilantro and basil with several cayenne peppers. It is spicy and intensely flavored. Yummy stuff.
