Shelley, I posted this on the amalgum forum but no one responded.....can you?
Yesterday I began the process of having my amalgum fillings replaced. Thankfully, I only have 3 and had 2 done yesterday.
Although the dentist said both teeth looked normal and healthy, I began having significant tooth pain several hours later. I called the dentist's office and was told it sounded like I might need a root canal because that kind of pain is not normal after a filling is replaced. So, after reviewing some of the information on this site, I started chewing on whole cloves because I didn't have any clove oil. Today the pain is almost gone but I'm curious, can cloves heal whatever trauma the root may have suffered or is it just a temporary fix? I do not want a root canal!!!!
