salt to kill germs

is it possable to use salt on food to kill germs, or even salt in capsules. Will it kill anything, bacteria,parasites,viruses. I read in hulda's book that salt kills all "Germs" but she did not expand on the subject, though I only have 1 of her books," The Cure For All Diseases " Tweet
