I eat 1 to 2 large meals a day. Sometimes 3. I am struggling with weight loss. I know thais is not the way tot go, but .......
I have recently been told by a doctor (MD), a nutritionist, a personal trainer, a Naturopath, and my chiroprator (geesh) that 6 small meals or rather eating something (even if it be a handful of raisens or a piece of fruit) every 2-3 hours and to never go longer than 4 hours w/out food.
Couldn't believe all those different types of professions would agree on one thing. I am confused.
They seem to think that eating more often and smaller amounts is the ideal.....but very hard for me to do. Per the personal trainer it will actually help me lose weight as it will speed up my metabolism if I eat small amounts closer together. Eating a large amount with a long time in between actually slows your metabolism.
I a confused now as to what really is best. Yikess!
