Re: New Development Today - Flukes
Yes I know!
This I am aware of!
The reason I state that the "eczema" (not diagnosed by anyone other than me - it is just the appearance) has something to do with teething is because the problem only happens during active teething periods. He is a tummy sleeper and a heavy drooler. His mouth area stays wet 100% of the time. His saliva is caustic! He drooled on my shoulder the other day and I had to go wash it off...burned!
His bottom only gets nappy rash during this period...it is not a persistent problem.
That being said, I DO understand that he may also be infected...after all, he came out of me and I have been dealing with this for years. So...since I cannot "flush" him, my focus is on giving him whole foods. He gets coco oil in his cereal, flax, evening primrose, borage oils (3,6,9, Gamma linoleic acids). He gets PLENTY of fiber and raw or slightly steamed veggies. He gets Spirulina and chlorella mixed in his milk. NO
White Sugar , NO white flour, NO high fructose corn syrup, NO trans-fats. We are actually going to a local organic dairy this weekend to get some grass-fed raw milk. I switched him to soy not long ago and I don't feel it is right for him with the phytoestrogen factor.
When he gets a little older I will put him on routine de-worming and cleansing just like Mom and Dad!
Anyway, my point was that as a skin soother, it is working wonders.
Thanks!
