Re: question for you
Hi Fennel,
The entire flush protocol (I use the standard
Hulda Clark flush) is linked at the top of the page under Dr. Clark, or just type in
Liver Flush in the search box. There are many different methods, but basically:
Eat a no-fat breakfast and lunch. Drink LOTS of water. Stop eating at 2pm. at 6pm take 1 TBS of
Epsom Salts dissolved in water or juice...or encapsulate the ES (it tastes NASTY!. Do this again at 8pm. You may experience a great deal of diarrhea at this point...no worries though, the ES liquifies the bowel as well as relaxing the bile ducts for easy passage of stones/sludge from the liver/GB. At 10pm drink down 4oz of oil...Olive oil for standard flush and 4oz of Lemon, lime or grapefruit juice. Go immediately to bed and lie on your right side, right leg drawn up into a fetal position. Try to go to sleep. Upon rising in the morning, take another dose of ES and take the fourth dose 2 hours later. You will experience more diarrhea in the morning. Break the fast with juice first, then move on to more solid foods. You may experience the need to re-instate electrolytes...this can be accomplished with some apple cider vinegar,
Sea Salt (not white salt), or Emergen-c (my personal favorite). Drink LOTS of water to avoid dehydration.
That's it in a nutshell. Also, I would recommend that you visit the
Liver Flush Forum and read ALL of Telman's messages (you can search by name). He is the resident expert over there...wealth of knowledge.
Like I said in a previous post here, I have battled this scourge for 10 years and HIGHLY recommend adding
Liver Flushes to the protocol. Evidently, bile is the body's way of keeping intestinal flora under control. Bad bile=candida overgrowth.
I hope this helps and you don't have to struggle with it as long as I.
Cheers!
