Another appt...
Went to my nice doc today.
She said that my specialist talked to her and told her that he recommends she NOT treat me for candida. :( She told me that i can try and convince her though! Then she handed me a candida cook book. :) I KNOW she believes me...just doesnt want to deviate from what she is SUPPOSE to be telling me.
She ended up telling me she would write me a prescription and IF my symptoms started coming back (they improved with my pregnancy)....that she would allow me to try Nystatin a few weeks after i give birth.
Question: i know nystatin powder is the best thing to take...but all the pharmacies i call say that the powder form is not oral, only topical. Should i be asking for Nilstat??? Ive read that but am not sure.
Also, with so many suggestions from everyone on things to take i'm wondering if the following is sufficient:
NYSTATIN (1/8 tablespoon 3x a day) but start with 1x a day
CANDIDA diet (as best i can since i may have to give in a little due2 hypoglycemia)
PROBIOTIC (please suggest the best one that is as gentle as possible)
If there is anything that helps build immune system and or reduced cortisol that would be nice too...but im SOOOO sensitive to anything i take (magnesium gave me anxiety attacks, calcium made things sound funny and i was dizzy). LOL
I am almost 9mo preg..and i can tell my symptoms are already starting to return.....so i wanna be prepared on what i should take.
ALSO.....i believe there is a big link between cfids/fibro and candida overgrowth....almost that they are one in the same. Im crossing my fingers nystatin saves me....
