Are rasins ok for candida diet?

That's the story with my Alzhaimer patient. Almost all of his toenails are black-brown and curly, some type of fungus lives down there happily ever after. I noted that to a doc and he told it is not worth trying to feed him up with antifungals- it's not worth, maybe it would kill him. Not sure he is right or not. I don't wish anyone to befriend an Alzhaimer or to have fungus-curled toenails, but I envy my patient that he has no candida, at least his tongue is always clean pink like that of a healthy baby.
How is that possible? I mean, if you are fungus infested like crazy, shouldn't you supposed to be full of candida? Or maybe he has candidiasis, but it just does not show up on the tongue? I don't get it- his immune system is way weaker, had couple of meningitis and I even couldn't get a decent cold in three years. Darnit.
