I think that people take this 'candida diet' thing too seriously. 'strict' is stupid, it'll probably cause more problems than it solves. They're guidelines, like jhan says sugar, alcohol, and gluten are the big ones to avoid, and carbs in general. Those are the guidelines... the specific foods depend more on your specific body so when someone says "cheese is bad" you should ignore them till you've determined for yourself that cheese is bad. This isn't too hard to do if you pay close attention to your body and play with an elimination diet. You won't get any answers from the internet, you have to actually work for it.
