Fossil Bush
I guess this forum is a better place to complain about the christian right extremists than in the supportive religion forums because there might be confrontational and angry results if I do.
I have often posted my true feelings towards religion, and its too bad that I hurt some people's feelings on this very touchy subject. But I feel I must speak my mind because so many others feel as I do. Free speach, bla bla bla.
Okaythen,Here we Go: "Evolution and Leakers" -
People of a certain ilk - Christian Hardline Extreme Right - heard about Pres. GW Bush being "the leaker", and they heard about the fossil discovery that linked fish and land creatures. Get this - they didn't believe either story was true.
Here, from the link below, is a list of their most dangerous-for-everybody non-beliefs:
QUOTE:
"Get it straight true believers: there are no missing links. God made man in his own image and George Bush is incapable of sin.
* And there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
* And there is no such thing as global warming, man made or otherwise. And there were no voting irregularities in Ohio in 2004 (or Florida in 2000).
* And we are fighting a just and noble war for democracy in Iraq.
* And there is no such thing as “peak oil.”
* And now, to justify a military invasion and possible nuclear bombing of Iran, we're told that the Iranian prime minister is “another Hitler,” Iran is our greatest global challenge and that Iran is the leading supporter of global terrorism.
Oh boy, thats ripe eh? There is more too, at this link, about the people who fund this whole movement and their incredible hypocracies of being super wealthy and basically they are the money-changers Jesus talked about, its just so obvious.

With huge torrents of cash from Richard Mellon Scaife, the Ahmanson family and other super-rich ultra-rightists, the fundamentalist church has formed the popular network that has spawned the Bush catastrophe. The totalitarian alliance between pulpit, corporation and military is unique in U.S. history.
