Not so. It's in the bible (which was truly adulterated by the catholics, mind you) that it's god's law for people to tithe 10% of their earnings to the church.

IF the church chooses to use it for meals and upkeep that's their business. I think what everyone's talking about here is tithing --- and that is wrong.

That was the catholic "addition" to the bible to help fund their holy wars and buy bigger jewels to wear on their big pointed pope hats. Tweet
