Re: Guideful source!

Well, I guess from all of your replies, I would have to call myself an atheist then. The subject of a religious president especially disturbs me as well! Especially when there seems to be no unbiased logic to back up the religion-influenced decisions that end up affecting the world.

I happened to be listening to the 700 club one sunday morning just cuz it was on the TV for background noise and I only get one channel (I'm not a big fan of TV), anyway, there's Jimmy Swaggart or whatever his name is interviewing some woman and she's sobbing and talking about how wonderful the relationship with her husband was and they had money, and they had stuff, and she had everything she ever wanted, until he started to abuse her and hit her... And she's crying and sobbing on the TV... and then she says I didn't have the strength to leave him till I found jesus and now my life is... blah blah blah.

So, she finishes her story and Jimmy whoever gets on the camera and says "The important thing to remember, is this man was Muslim"

OMG!!! I was absolutely apalled at this blatant attempt to brainwash the american people and the sad thing is that it WORKS on many of them. There's a whole bunch of SHEEP out there just nodding their heads at that!

Unfortunately it's that sort of mentality that is now running our country and it makes me afraid that the freedoms I treasure as an american will be lost to this mindless drivel.

Thanks for letting me vent :)
