Re: need to bring down "WALLS" ; fundy builds them.

Having conducted business in the Middle East and survived one kidnapping attempt plus undergone numerous negotiations with business owners on site I can assure you that the Middle Easterners do not like us as Americans, not just our government. Or were the Twin Towers in another country and I just assumed it was New York? Nor do the Europeans like us for that matter, and I have had to sit through much degradation by Germans and French in their countries and here on how stupid and arrogant we as Americans in general are. Have they ever looked in the mirror? I do have to give them that we are quite naive and that our growing lackadaisical attitude on life generally keeps us that way, courtesy of the wonderful alphabet channels.

By the way, Muslim extremists want to kill people who do not submit to becoming Islamic - period. Not only Americans are in their crosshairs, in case that went unnoticed. Look at history and you will see this is the way expansion is implemented. Walls also provide a bit of protection, hence the reason many of us live in houses and appartments. So while I understand the division concept, it is worth stating that protection and safety are worthy causes. This is also part of the reason for barriers to entrants from adversary areas. Or should we all just embrace the nitro-laden individuals who just need understanding?

Regarding oil...I would definitely like to see us completely independent of other countries as tightening supplies is the equivalent of a firm grip on the gonads of American society. I believe Bush understands that, whether or not he earns from the Texas teapots. That would, however, require us drilling which is against what environmentalists want. So where do we go with this? The American lifestyle is very dependent on crude and until you are able to turn our lifestyle around that is not going to change and would take decades. So what is the acceptable solution? As for Bush, please point me to the web site where it shows his earnings from oil. I want to see the proof in dollar amounts.

Oh by the way...the Middle East has been at war for thousands of years. As per my personal experience over a 5-year period plus media coverage from here and abroad they really only understand the severity of an issue by the level of violence at hand. Sorry, neither everything nor everyone sings "Kumbaya".

Back to Atheist tendencies, shall we?
