Re: "Safe levels of say intake"
Sure, there are good things about Soy, like high protien levels and so on.
it was never much of a traditional food anywhere in the world though...
Your diet may be better off eating Soy than meat. If it is a substitute, then you maybe made the right decision. Dairy too could be worth usinjg soy to replace it.
using something else again may be the best choice!
soy does have these special TOXINS in it naturally and also artificialy. see links - have you read this?
"Safe levels of SOY intake" is the first link. I printed it off and left it at the stores and doctors offices...
Conspiracy in me says : "notice how doctors will suggest you thyroid is problematic" when it could be a lot of things. Why do they know to look to the thyroid at this time? - because they have been told to look for the epidemic of thyroid problems coming along. Now, the doctors don't know why they have been told this, but someone up top does... and it is because they know that the ill-effcts of soy will be showing up about now, after the huge marketing campaign of the late 70s and 80s, and still going with their erroneous propaganda.
But that is paranoid thinking. You gotta choose...
