dang, what's with all the prescription commercials on tv?

has anyone else noticed that they are just pushing prescription meds on tv commercials like crazy?? it kinda makes me sick to my stomach every time one comes on!

i have had the weather channel on for about an hour now, watching storm stories, and ads for 4 different meds have come up, geez, what is this world coming to anyway? i think it's pretty scary.....
