Baking Soda cleans great.

Baking Soda will clean veggies, and clean grease like a scouring powder. Ammonia is not a disinfectant, it only removes greasy media which can grow bacteria. Ammonia screws up the pH of your system, and the fumes will dehydrate lung tissue. Use Ammonia only as absolutely needed, and that might include taking oven racks outside and soaking in a plastic bag with Ammonia. Hose off. Tweet
