Re: irritation down below - help?
[1] Yep, witch hazel is exactly what's on Tuck's pads, so grab a bottle (under a buck) and dab on with your toilet paper or cotton balls.
[2] I agree with the A&D as well (or get the generic brand). The stuff is absolutely wonderful for baby's booboo and just as great for ours. Mineral oil, I think it is, plus vitamins.
[3] A bidet! If only... seems that would be standard in a bathroom. Instead, keep a spray bottle of plain water or witch hazel or a mix and spray your bottom bidet-style. Sitz baths are great too (you can get a set up at most drug stores at a very reasonable cost).
[4] Wipe as little as possible. If you're "spraying" (as in diarrhea-type spray, [yeah, I know lol]), you may not need to wipe as much after a good dousing with a cleansing, cooling liquid (water, witch hazel). Even try to dab some instead of wiping, and use the toilet paper that is the best quality for your skin.
[5] Do your kegels! Don't push! Avoid rhoids like the plague by doing your kegels religiously -- every time you pee, at least 5 good times. And try not to push your bm's out if possible.
That mineral liquid.. hmm I'll have to remember that next cleanse!
