9 Month Update:
I got myself into some trouble where I can't sleep at night because some sort of anxiety -- possibly catecholamines like epinephrine -- pulses from my heart and keeps me awake. I suspect it to be adrenaline from a "psuedo-hypoglycemia," which I suspect is caused by high insulin levels from electrolyte deficiencies, specifically potassium. I believe Chanca Piedra drained me of potassium and magnesium reserves because it is classified as a loop diuretic and I took it for many months, twice. After the first time, I noticed a tingling sensations in my hands, feet, and face/mouth, and then occasionally heavier ones in my chest that accompanied them. Supposedly they are symptoms of calcium loss since it must be used to buffer the blood's pH when potassium is absent and is excreted in the urine. After the second time, the tingling sensation increased in frequency and the heart-anxiety, which disrupted sleep, began. As evidence for my theory, I've noticed the tingling goes away upon the combined consumption of magnesium chloride and potassium chloride (intestinal potassium absorption is dependent upon magnesium availability). Although the tingling eventually gets replaced with a cold and numbness tingling, which might be hyperkalemia, and the heart-anxiety goes away enough for me to sleep. I began to gain fat during the insomnia period, but it has started to fall off since the focus on electrolyte repletion.
I say all this to warn of Chanca Piedra, which many have touted as a cure to
liver stones ; not only did I not see any change in my liver, but it is probably responsible for my new struggles. I am uncertain if the Gold Coin Grass also played a role, but believe it's not necessary to take, either.
What has seemed to give me energy and enabled fat loss is ox bile and vegetables. Because I have a fatty liver, I don't believe it's able to produce the bile necessary for liver flushes, which would explain my weak results with Andreas Mortiz, or anyone else's protocols (I did notice malic acid caused slightly painful shifts in the liver, which should be a sign of stagnant bile movement). When I take the exogenous ox bile, eat vegetables, and am able to exercise, the next day there is pain in my abdomen along the biliary tree, which I think is the result of a "natural liver flush" caused by exercise's removal of stagnant liver blood accompanied by bitter vegetables' initiation of the liver detoxification process and a large supply of fresh bile to secrete.
My current treatment plan is: 1) 500mg - 1g ox bile per day, 2) vegetables -- especially broccoli, 3) exercise (when possible), and 4) no carbohydrates since they're supposed to cause fatty liver.
I have tested many different ox biles and found this Horbaach brand to be the cheapest and most effective:

The Nutricology brand worked well, too, but the price quadrupled to a prohibitive amount.
