Is there such a thing as iodine withdrawal?

I have been taking Lugol's Iodine (15mg) for about 2 years. When they found ovarian cysts 6 months ago, I increased my intake to 25mg. About 4 months ago, I started not feeling well - lower back pain, abdominal pain. My doc did a thyroid test last week and my TSH showed 41.37 u[IU]/mL and my Free T4 0.29 ng/dL. I stopped the Lugol's about 5 days ago. I don't feel well now 5 days later. Stomach upset, morning headaches, muscle stiffness, nauseous.

Can you experience Iodine withdrawal symptoms?

And can high Iodine intake cause an increase in TSH?

Thanks for any help.
