I hope you don't mind me jumping in. Steve888 is correct regarding magnesium citrate (natural calm) relaxing the biliary system. However, it is not bitter, so I don't believe it contracts the gallbladder the way magnesium sulfate does. This is a side benefit of magnesium sulfate ( Epsom Salts ) that has been detailed elsewhere by Telman. I prefer using magnesium citrate because it does not produce the intense dehydration and diarrhea associated with Epsom Salts . The overall hangover from flushing this way seems less intense, although any trapped emotions associated with stone removal will still pop up. You may wish to clear the flush waste with an enema, or allow it to pass normally, depending on your motility.
