My advice is that you start eating good plant based protein and exercise for at least three months. Eat fresh meals, salad a day is a must for you. After you adopt this life style you will see the difference in you muscles and ligaments. Many body builders are on plant based foods, just google it.
After you finish three months of high micro nutrient dense foods, you can can fast to clean your body. Fast for 3-5 days first, go back on plant based diet, three months later do another fast. Exercise during eating period is important and rest during the fast is equally important.
