Another 2 cents. Albendazole didn't work well for my disseminated strongyloids, nor did the Ivermectin and I even took it by injection. It all seemed to help for a short while (a day or two) but then they invariably returned. Very discouraging. My son (optometrist) strongly discouraged my IVM use for huge eye risk.
The ONLY thing that has helped me was Sharkman's Protocol. Doxy for 21 days, then fenbendazole 10mg/kg twice per day for 5 days at the full moon and moxidectin horse dose per weight once a month. After several restarts (I do not do well on Doxy, but finally made the 21 days) I am now almost another year into it and I have had NO symptoms for 3 months. I am now taking the FenBen once daily for the 5 days 2 wks after the Moxi (monthly). I plan to keep this up forever. During these last 6 months, the number of "vibrating things" in my extremities have reduced in number and quality of vibration from many rapid, strong vibrators to few very weak and now, nothing. Yea. I can feel my skin and nest sites healing thanks to the Doxy. My nightmare may be resolving - thanks SHARKMAN!
