Re: Nail fungus gone after digging it out

I should also add the history of the nail. A few years ago, a very thin black line formed at the top of my thumb nail which didn't hurt or bother me, but then after some time when I pressed my thumb up to the nail from underneath i could feel some discomfort/pain. For some reason I got it in my head to keep pressing and squeezing really hard as if I would be able to squeeze it out. This caused great irritation and inflammation and the black line evenutally turned into yellow and then green (or it was covered by it, not sure). This is when I decided to stick the needle in and gently scratch it all out (mixture of red, brown, yellow, green gunk). It's been a year or so now and it still looks good and clean.
