i have said time and again, its not what you do that matters. what matters is who you listen to and who you are.
notice all those chains of custody in the bible that we call genealogies. those are the ones to listen to.
the old testament is well established. those are the ones that paul refers to as scripture. jesus also said that life can be found in them. jesus is the word robed in flesh so that he is the only way means that the scriptures are the only way.
who are the main ones we have after jesus christ? they are first john, the disciple that jesus loved, his closest, so he has the most inside scoop. peter, because he was typical and gives us all hope. james, the brother of jesus and the head of the group in jerusalem "headquarters". paul, who was personally called out by jesus himself. you see what i mean. and then with john comes THE revealing of what had been hidden about jesus christ, the real inside scoop. in there he says the action is coming from the 24 elders (books of the hebrew bible) and the four living, IOW the four gospels.
and yes, when you get on the path god reveals these things to us and we become as christ, speaking words that are spirit and are truth.
and thats the truth. thats how pauls words are living. and peters. and james. and judes. and lukes.
