Borax/Boron was like taking speed!

Hello, wondering if anyone else has experienced this when trying boron supplements or borax mix for arthritis. First off - apologies for the long post but I think its important to know what I took.
My husband learned about the use of borax for candida overgrowth and upon further investigation he found all this information regarding how it helps arthritis. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis 3 years ago and have been trying every way possible to avoid falling into the big Pharma trap! So we studied, read all the medical research, lab studies, PubMed, personal stories, recipes, EVERYthing we could find and decided to give it a shot. He mixed one teaspoon of 20 Mule Team borax into one quart of water. The first night I took one-half a teaspoon of this mixture in 24 oz of water. Within 5 minutes I felt a tingling in my throat, very mild. Within a few more minutes a little, barely noticeable, tingling all over. So minor I couldn't even pin point that it was really what I was feeling. I was able to sleep easily and quite well that night, something rarely happens!
The next dose was just after breakfast the next morning. I decided to try one full teaspoon. Well, all I can say is WOW!!!!! Within 5 minutes I had a huge burst of energy, my brain fog was not only gone, but my mind was racing from thought to thought with full clarity, I felt like I need to go run! I was pacing with energy and my mood was one of total optimism and excitement! My Arthritis pain and stiffness was very minimal to totally gone! The thought that kept racing through my mind was "this stuff is a MIRACLE!!". This was the level of excitement I had. Along with these elated feelings I also experienced an almost chill-like effect, like I was getting chill bumps or goosebumps.
This continued throughout the day, along with the euphoria and extreme energy level. This stuff was awesome!
This happened again the next day. To the point that I was concerned about encountering anyone who were to cross me the wrong way, as I felt so strong and energetic that I thought if someone crosses me I will punch them! Although I was not angry or agitated. It was just an underlying fear that I could explode if rubbed the wrong way. Maybe that was anxiety?
I had already ordered a 3 mg boron supplement so after 3 days of the borax solution I had my bottle of NOW Boron supplements and decided to switch to that. I had been concerned that we would not be able to properly measure the dosing with the borax solution. Well, the Boron Supplement had the same effect, but on a slightly smaller scale and at a slightly slower speed.
After 4 days of awesome energy levels and a mind that was racing like mad, I decided to give it rest for one day.
I have not been able to find anyone else reporting these effects.
BTW - my hubby tried the borax solution on my 3 day of treatment and HE experienced the same effects!!
Please someone tell me they felt this also, and WHY?
