Re: How could mere man comprehend infinity?
Actually, "Time-identity" is an insightful and interesting expression of a brilliant concept.
Just for the sake of productive conversation, I'll tell you that for the last couple of years I've been writing about the "age of time and the age of eternity" on the Christian Debate forum. I understand that man's concept of "TIME" is based on our imagined concept of "IDENTITY" and egotistical individuality/exclusivity, it is not based on the unity and equality of the human race as a whole (civilization).
Our Savior was sent to earth "as a plan for...THE FULNESS OF TIME" (direct quote from Ephesians). That means that the "Rock of AGES" sent our Savior to earth as a plan for THE END OF TIME and began the AGE OF ETERNITY (never have I heard any explanation about which ages the "Rock" is "OF")......He ended the age of TIME and began the age of ETERNITY.
The age of eternity is not based on IDENTITY (individualism), but based on the unity, peace, and equality of humanity.
I have also realized that "TIME" is what enables us to selfishly and egotistically understand/perceive individual IDENTITY so that we choose to forego brotherhood unity, but I never put it in so few words,,.....thank you.
