Q about high abnormal ketones level

I have some old 2007 hospital records that show that I had abnormal ketones, 2+ and 3+a
(3+a is the highest there is for ketone testing level). On separate occasions. And it was when i went to the hospital feeling like i was going to die, towards the beginning of everything, but nothing was said about the ketones or possibility of diabetes. And i am not sure what my Sugar levels were. 1 in 3 have prediabetes, statistically, and i’ve had a lot of symptoms since back then. Not nearly as severe as they were, since some diet changes,but i may have issues with sugar. I also have had lung disease heart issues and liver etc etc etc and i have had symptoms of acidosis, severe symptoms since back then, but i am not sure if anything diabetes related or diabetic acidosis. I have had the kind of acidosis thats lung related and from too high of carbon dioxide not being removed from the body. I’m also rh negative (a-) and so im not sure if blood tests are the same, because its less common of a bloodtype. Honestly i dont think most drs i go to even know how to do any of that stuff. Tweet
