What your doctor prescribed sound correct for protozoal infection. Antibiotics are only effective against bacteria. You mentioned morgellons, based on the description of what it is, doesn't sound like Antibiotics would be effective for that, it's something to do with synthetic fibers not bacteria. Nitazoxanide is broad spectrum anti viral. anti bacterial, anti parasitic.
