Dealing with Schizophrenia

Hello everyone.

I suffer from schizo-affective disorder, and have been looking through past forum posts to cure my mental illness (and to learn more, of course).
I've researched a lot, but still can't figure out what necessarily caused my mental disorder. I suspect it was due to a candida infection in my gut, because I suffer from leaky gut, candida and possibly parasites. (I've read before on CZ that yeast infections may find its way through the blood-brain-barrier and cause such symptoms.)

At the moment, I'm taking L-theanine with Humaworm, hoping to eradicate ones that are in my head. (Yes, I sound crazy, I know.) I did this because I would hear crackling noises at night, and I knew it wasn't due to a joint displacement of my jaw. I know that because I would lie still in bed, and still hear all the crackling and popping noises. From my observations, it seems to have cleared up the symptom of crackling a lot.

I've also read that taking Niacin (B3) helps, but I'm afraid for my liver if I decide to opt that route. The thing is, I think my liver is overworked and I'm scared to cause any unnecessary damage to it at this point in time.

At this point, I'm trying to look more into Dr. Hoffer's research, orthomolecular therapy, and vitamin/herbal supplements to help with my disorder. I've relapsed from not taking my medication, but its so difficult to cure oneself while risking the return of schizo-affective symptoms (if I don't take my medicine). I truly hate my medicine, and find myself feeling more like 'me' without it. I have a more active metabolism without my meds, I can lose weight, and my bowel movements can be more regular using LBB.

Anyhow, does anyone have any advice? I'm getting worn out trying to figure out a regimen I can follow while being on my medication, and healing myself (and my gut) naturally.
