I have no desire to find a worship forum. I also am not a FOLLOWER (jellyfish "wus") of anything or anyone (I don't FOLLOW THE LEADER, I LOVE the Lord).

The Lord does not need anything......and WE have some nerve thinking that we can offer Him anything of value.........HE is the gracious one and we are WOEFULLY inferior to Him. We simply DON'T have anything to offer Him and would be completely lost if He hadn't decided to be faithful to His children.


Act 17:25 nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all men life and breath and everything.

According to the law of liberty we are allowed to honor, worship, praise, flatter, compliment, and patronize God all we wish, but just because something is permitted, it doesn't mean that we are required to do it or that there is any benefit for us. After all, He doesn't give us what we deserve (we deserve death, He is gracious to us and gives us salvation without asking anything in return).

So don't be fair to God by giving Him what He deserves (HONOR,etc.), be gracious with what is in your heart, mind, and soul (or do you also require your children to honor, praise, worship, flatter, and patronize you?????).

It is very condescending of us to patronize Him with HONOR ACTIVITIES (as though we have been constructive and reminded nature of His majesty.

"WORSHIP" is a very misunderstood and misused word (words don't have the same meaning/connotation they once had)....It used to only mean "to revere"........
..........(veneration-admiration), now it includes a meaning of PERFORMING an activity to show reverence (we should not ACTIVELY worship God, only revere Him and respect Him).

This needs to be clarified now because the age old notion that He is NEEDY of glorification is wrong (and it turns many away from knowing more about Him).
God is not an egomaniac.........and it is not nice to suggest or treat/think of Him as one (He doesn't want to be resented or blamed for our bad attitudes).

Heb 2:14 that through death he might destroy him who has the power of death, that is, the devil,



....REVERE AND RESPECT God, He is not a toy.
