Re: Water fast to recover from a possible hernia as a result of a recent nephrectomy
A good thing you do not have hernia. First two or three days of the fast you lose water weight, so it is not alarming to lose so much weight. On average a person loses 1lb per day. In my few long fasts, I lost 5 lbs in a day, also few days no weight loss.
If you want to fast again, one thing you have to do is to get rid of fear. We don’t fear eating bad foods, which killl us slowly, but we fear not eating a few days here and there. Nature has designed all living things not to eat everyday, humans are the only living thing that stores food, processes food and eats four five times a day, this way of living is also recent, may be 10 thousand years or so, but before that for 6 million years, we found food ate it and moved on, there were days we also did not get to eat.
Headache, nausea, other pains and aches are all symptoms of toxins being removed, more you fast easier it will get.
Since you have fasted for only three days you can eat raw plant based diet for a week and fast again.
Best wishes,
