Yes, Iodine can be used for genital warts. The warts shrivel almost immediately. After one day, the warts I have are 50% improved. I had clusters at the vaginal opening and new ones appearing at the anus. They are almost all gone after day two. The drawback is it burns a little and stains, so use directly on the warts only, not on unaffected skin. A chemical burn will result. It is difficult to use the pipette because of the weird angle of things, but a Q-tip works great. I did treat at night only and by day did not treat the warts at all as it is uncomfortable. Just be sure to clean the affected area with an anti-fungal soap and allow to dry, keeping the affected area as dry as possible. Warts thrive on and need moisture to live and duplicate. Apple cider vinegar also works but not as quickly as the iodine. I used "Lugol's Iodine Solution 5%, 10% potassium iodide, twice distilled water, pharmaceutical grade". Dietary supplements are also important to fight off genital warts. If you need more advice, just ask. Good luck.
