Re: Jesus' 'Jacked Up Idea' of What The Bible Says

This once again makes me hear my dad's voice over and over saying, "Are you really telling me they are saying we are going to go back to animal sacrifices? That's blasphemy!"

Or Paul Washer's voice:

This is why I kept annoying Refreshed to death about Ezekial's temple not so long ago. She said Ezekiel's temple was not part of her view, but it has to be, lest you throw it out of the Bible. Otherwise, you have to deal with it. But no doubt Ezekiel's temple is a difficult one for Premillennialists who like to scold everyone else for not being Biblical Literalists all the way through. If you are going to read Ezekiel's prophecy as literal, you are going to have some serious problems. If not, then you have to give up that criticism about how it's a terrible thing to spiritualize certain prophecies because that's exactly what you are going to have to do too unless you want to deal with those impossible problems presented by a literal interpretation of Ekekial's temple. So Premillenialists are stuck between a rock and a hard place on that one and you know they don't want to give up their most beloved criticism of us. How miserable that would be! I feel for them! lol
