For the avoidance of any doubt, there's a huge difference between denying being un unwitting piggy in the middle for anyone, and accepting that the allegation made against a third party has any basis in fact.

I knew nothing of the shenanigans going on in the background about the trapeze artiste, and was not a party to it. I was quite open about my attitude to his mo, and my choice to ignore him & others is also my own. I have more than sufficient mental capacity to make my own decisions, and need no encouragement or incitement by anyone else. Tansy is patently mistaken to give you the credit for my actions, and I'm sure she will be the first acknowledge her error after further reflection.

I believe she has also apologized for her earlier treatment of the artiste, and I think that should be accepted in good grace. I prefer not to think the worst of anyone's motives until evidence to the contrary is overwhelming, and I will even reconnect with my abusers if/when I'm apprised of any developments that warrant it.
