Parkinson's - Need help

Hi, I am writing this for my dad. His hands used to tremor like anything when he is sitting idle. We went to our family doctor and he carried out a neurological exam. After that, he told my dad is suffering from Parkinson's. He prescribed Levodopa for my dad. But the longtime use of it has affected his brain. So now he is in need of a support. When I discussed this with my friend she suggested taking him to a neurological rehabilitation center in North York ( http://www.teamtheraputix.ca/our_services/neurological-disorders/). I am planning to take him there. Where he can get better care and appropriate assistance. Will this rehabilitation help him? Is there any way I can try at home to change his situation?
