It does help to take a potent probiotic, if you eat sugar at a minimal the probiotic will over ride it. Just take 15 to 50 billion of probiotic and it will be effective in fighting the yeast. It helped me. But, I eat very little sugar. So when I want sweets like brownie with lactose free milk or ice cream I immediately take a high potent of of probiotic 30 billion, and about 4-6 or more strands of good bacteria.
