Taking iodine and borax together

Hi,

I'm new to supplementing with Lugol's solution and borax. I know Lugol's solution and vitamin c shouldn't be taken together. But is there any problem with taking Iodine and borax together, as in, mixing them with the same water, and drinking the water?
