borax and bicarb together?

Hi can anybody help?

exploring Making the Borax Solution.

Can the water be tap water? I am aware of the problems with tap water. However, distilled water is expensive here in the UK (at least for me)

Also, I take Bicarb (1/2 teaspoon in glass water)Is it possible to use small amounts borax and the bicarb and drink together?
Have tried to find the answer.
Any help appreciated
