Koch was certainly a bright individual, he won a scholarship to college back around early 1900's when he was in high school, then on to get a PhD in chemistry and an MD. Became head of the department pretty quickly. Definitely gifted, a Savant. Then he studied the urine of dogs that had parathyroidectomy. i.e., dogs that had their parathyroid glands cut out. Made some key observations about what guanadine and lactic acid in the urine means.

Sued three times by government, like Harry Hoxsey and others, but he won every time. It appears he cured many cancers with just a single dose of extremely dilute oxidation catalysts. This is NOT homeopathy - the homeopaths should not be whetting their chops over this. Consider that vitamin B12 is effective at 10^9 dilution rates, and that is NOT homeopathy.
