11 day dry fast: Day 1
Hey guys, my names Corey and i'm 18, new to this forum and need somewhere to post everyday on progress on my dry fast.
I'm obsessed with my health and reaching my greatest potential genetically and spiritually and a few months ago i found
Water Fasting and did an 11 day
Water Fast and got great results.
Then i did some more digging a little while later and found out dry fasting was even more effective then water so i then proceeded to do a 4 day dry fast again with great results.
But the fasts i completed weren't deep enough to heal the ailments i was looking to rid myself of, it only lessened them.
Forget that though, they are very minor and i'm just a nitpick and can't help seeing faults and minor details. But i will talk more about my ailments at the end and tell you specifically whether they are gone or not.
Anyway, I originally started intermittent fasting and focusing on health over a year ago so now i think i'm ready for something a bit more serious and since i'm young and strong, now seems a better time then ever.
I've been working up to this for awhile, i'm sure my body is ready and i trust it.
I am really doing this for a fresh start in life.
I'm 18 now, almost 19 and finally approaching adulthood and i'm gonna have this body for the rest of my life and i want it to be the strongest and healthiest i can make it, so i'm doing this to in a way, to become the best version of myself.
Only the strongest cells in my body will survive this, so in theory when i rebuild, my body will be much better, stronger and more efficient then it ever was before effectively strengthening my own genetics through my own manipulation. Sounds cool when i put it like that.
Most people will think i'm nuts for doing this but from the research I've done its actually very natural for mammals to dry fast on instinct and i am a mammal and feel the need to do this so i'm gonna do it.
I'm gonna play it safe and take it easy by resting and meditating and doing as little as possible so death will be very unlikely and i know the signs my body will give if i need to stop too, so i feel very comfortable doing this.
I doubt ill get the signs however. I am young and my body is clean from everything else i've been doing so it should be fairly easy for me.
Afterwards i'm gonna break the fast with coconut water and then follow a mostly fruitarian diet so as to not shock my system and allow my body to rebuild properly.
I have heard a fruitarian diet is the most optimal for the human body and through the research i've done i believe it.
So anyway, that's my plan.
Right now i feel great like i always do when i fast.
I just always find that i have a little too much energy and lightness while fasting and it gets very uncomfortable and things get very boring too with that constant feeling of emptiness.
Boredom isn't a sign to stop though so this time i'm just gonna suck it up and do the time.
So I'll be posting again tomorrow. Thanks for reading.
