Re: Thyroglobulin WENT UP on Iodine

Awesome! I am in Uruguay (yeah, i am the only one that i know in this country that talks about this, it's crazy)

All doctors here recommend T4 like their lives depended on it, they are scared of T3 medication. That's why i am paying for a private doctor (Grade 5 in Endocrinology), but you know how it is, he might be the same as the others. In that case i might experiment myself as i have no other options.

I know right of the bat that i have adrenal issues as well, mainly as you said because of not enough Thyroid Hormones. My temp are all over the place depending on the day. On one day i might be 36.5 C and the next one 36.2 C (All taken in the morning). Also i have Gilbert's Syndrome and my body has a hard time converting T4 to T3.

Now that you mention, i also noticed (and family members) eye bags right after starting Iodine, it was really weird. It felt like when i drank coffee and felt good but at night i had a crash, almost exactly like that.

I am doing what you said and reporting back.

Doctors probably don't recommend T3 because they don't want TSH Supressed and T4 low while T3 being maybe over the top of the range, and people don't want to dose multiple times a day as T3 has a short life, so it's easy to make problems with it.

What are you doing at the moment with Iodine and your Thyroid? Thanks so much for taking your time to respond, i really appreciate it.
