21 day fast maybe 30 days

Hello my name is Ryan and i am 30 years old and i am starting my 21-30 day Water Fast today May 2nd at 11:07 pm. My last meal was spinach, an orange, banana, orange pepper, almonds and chia seeds on lemon water.

My goals for this fast is to have improved mental capacity(less brain fog and more alert), to build a clean foundation in which to build a clean healthy lifestyle on when the fast is broken, healthisr skin, increased energt and better overall feeling of my well being and decreased anxiety( i have GAD generalized anxiety disorder.) Weight loss is just a pleasant side effect and is not what i am doing this fast for and isnt what any fast should be used for because its unsustainable.

I made sure to include plenty of potassium in my diet before starting the fast because the ONLY thing that scared me about long term fasting is severe potassiuk defiency leading to very serious health complications. Hopefully someone can ease my mind about the potassium troubles and how the body can preserve potassium during fasting to keep itself safe.

Also i plan on only consuming distilled water during this time which i have read is okay. I also have an incredibly sedentary job right now which will make things easier.

Anyhow wish me luck on my journey. Your comments are all much appreciated feel free to leace your feedback. I will post my day by day results here.

Also i should mention i have done a few 4 day fasts in the past and im just looking for some more deep healing right now.
